Lower fuel burn
Fuel is the largest running cost on most diesel fleets. A calibration matched to how the machine actually works cuts consumption per hour and per load, and on a hard-working fleet that saving repays the job quickly.
Tuning is an investment, and it should only be done when the return is clear and the machine stays safe for its whole service life. Here is what a properly done calibration actually returns, and how we protect the asset while doing it.
Fuel is the largest running cost on most diesel fleets. A calibration matched to how the machine actually works cuts consumption per hour and per load, and on a hard-working fleet that saving repays the job quickly.
More usable torque where the machine needs it means faster cycles, fewer downshifts, and better pulling and loading. The same machine moves more dirt, tons or acres in the same shift.
Smoother power delivery and throttle response make a machine easier to run all day and less punishing on the operator and the driveline.
An engine that is not straining to hit targets, tuned within safe limits, tends to run cooler and cleaner, which shows up as fewer problems over the life of the asset.
Conservative, correctly built calibrations keep the engine and driveline inside their safe envelope, so you get the gains without trading away dependability.
Before you commit, we tell you the likely benefit for your specific machine, not just the price. If the return is not there, we will say so.
Using professional software, we read the program currently on your ECM, then carefully adjust parameters such as fuelling, injection timing, boost pressure and torque limits to gain fuel economy and usable power. The right changes depend entirely on the equipment and on what you are trying to achieve.
The original software is saved before anything is changed, and it can be reloaded at any time.
A surprising number of shops just load standard library files, and it shows. Real tuning takes time. We edit each file for the specific machine and verify the result, comparing the stock and modified calibration directly so nothing is left to guesswork.
Because we edit each file rather than loading a generic library map, we check our work directly: the original calibration and the modified one are compared parameter by parameter, so every change is deliberate and nothing unexpected is left in the file that goes back on your machine.
On any job, we can tell you exactly which parameters were adjusted and why. If you want the machine back to stock later, we reload the original file we saved.
Manufacturers use the same engine across many models at different power and duty ratings, which leaves safe headroom to work within. We use that headroom rather than pushing components toward their limits. Often the limiting factor is not even the engine, but the cooling system or transmission, and we account for that.
This conservative approach is why fleets and mining operations trust us with expensive machines: the goal is to maximize the benefit without compromising the long-term integrity of the asset.
Tell us the machine and how it is used. We reply with the cost and the likely benefit for your specific equipment.
In diesel tuning since 2012, with thousands of machines programmed.
Not when it is done correctly. We stay within the engine and driveline's safe limits and keep factory protections active. Our approach is deliberately conservative to protect the asset for its full service life.
It depends on the machine, its condition and how it is worked. Rather than promise a number, we give you an honest estimate of the likely benefit for your specific equipment with your quote.
Yes. We back up the original software before any change and can reload it at any time.
No. Chasing peak numbers is how machines get damaged. We tune for usable, reliable gains within safe limits, which is what actually saves money over time.
